The 15th Street Fisheries is a culinary legacy, one that has been around for three decades or so in Fort Lauderdale, and is one of the most well known waterfront eateries that Florida has seen. Whether you are seated upstairs or in the dockside café, there's always a view of the stunning blue water, while the charming South Florida boathouse atmosphere adds to the pleasure. Entertainment takes place in the form of live music on weekends while feeding of the giant tarpons in the restaurant's own docks is an attraction that few would want to miss.

Start with the spicy jumbo shrimp cocktail or the ceviche with tuna, snapper and scallops and follow it with an entrée of pan seared black grouper over rice, with smoked apple wood bacon, cherry tomatoes, capers and artichoke hearts in white wine butter sauce. Other choices include grilled ahi tuna, filet mignon and of course the Maine lobster. The wine list is eclectic, covering France and Italy while mainly concentrating on California.
