I’ve been there a few times and this place is well worth a visit if you're in Notting Hill and feeling hungry. To start with the portions are massive; my girlfriend and I had to share a pudding which does not usually happen. All the staff are really friendly and helpful, especially the waitress who’s been there for years- I think she’s called Stephanie. The prices while not bottom end are pretty reasonable, you’re looking at around £35 for drinks, meals, and coffee for two, which includes a service charge. Like the other reviews I’ve read on the web, you need to get there early if you go on a weekend, especially over lunchtimes as it’s usually packed, but on weekdays I’ve only waited for around five minutes. They have some nice tables outside on the pavement, and some more at the back in a pretty garden, but this is closed when the weather’s bad. So, all-in-all a great informal ‘local feeling’ place to meet friends for breakfast, brunch coffee etc, that won’t break the bank.
