This is undoubtedly my favourite restaurant. The menu changes regularly and the cuisine is mouth watering. The cheese board is to die for, with so many different types to choose from. The service is excellent and so is the wine list. It’s well worth a try.

We went midweek, a party of four. Very pleasant restaurant, (not a pub) with large tables and plenty of space between.

The menu was varied ranging from fish, meat and game as well as a set menu. All our party had three different courses, all plates were empty. The food was "featured" on a wide range of large glass and ceramic plates, excellent presentation. Ingredients seemed fresh, and combinations of tastes all seemed to work.

There was an extensive cheese board, crepes flamed at the table and good coffee at the end. Service was friendly and attentive. At approx £35 per head with drinks we felt that this was in keeping with the high standard of food presented, and ambience and we will be returning. Recommended!
