63 Tay Street Restaurant

63 Tay Street, Perth, PH2 8NN

Situated in the heart of historic Perth adjacent to the River Tay which passes through the town, 63 Tay Street is a light and airy restaurant by day and dons a more sophisticated look in the evening. The 2 AA Rosette, Michelin Guide and the Good Food Guide recommendations have firmly placed this restaurant as one among the most sought after places to eat in Scotland. Head Chef Graeme Pallister's cooking displays confidence and care with a strong emphasis on seasonality. The regularly changing menu lists a choice of pressed ham, walnut bread and piccalilli, followed by aromatic cod cheeks, shrimp and pork belly, pak choi and coconut. Poached pear is undeniably an all-time favourite and here it comes with caramel sauce and pistachio ice cream.

REVIEWS OF 63 Tay Street Restaurant

Marian (16 April 2010)

This little restaurant has become a firm favourite with us - we love its relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Graeme Pallister never fails to impress, we love the locally sourced and varied menus - a great excuse for a trip to Perth!

Tony (16 December 2009)

Got to be one of the best in Scotland, having lived here for 5 years and eaten in a few of the top ones I can easily see 63 Tay street getting a Michelin if others such as Kitchin and Sangsters can. Every time we go food is local and fresh, well thought out and complimented by excellent service and good wines. It is popular with the locals for fine dining.
