A Pinch of Veg Description
How many times have you wished for more vegetarian options at your regular dining haunt? As vegetarianism gains traction across the globe, A Pinch of Veg caters to that stratum of Ilford-ites who seek continual excitement on the menu, so rest assured that your palates won't slip into boredom considering the sheer variety on offer here.
To start a piri piri cassava or vegetable spring rolls may appeal, followed by dosa, a paper thin crepe like pancakes, made from rice flour, served with sambhar and coconut chutney, or idli, savoury cakes made from a batter of lentils and rice. Other main courses that stand out are penne arrabiata and deep forest, where rice is stir-fried with bamboo shoots, chestnuts and mango tout.
There is a separate section listing fresh juices, smoothie, beers and wine, but the afters are really worth investigating; take the kheer brûlée for example, with a caramelised sugar topping, it brings a French touch to an otherwise traditional Indian dessert.

They serve fantastic vegetarian food ranging from the fantastic piri piri cassava and fresh hand made dough pizza and chilli paneer to the toffee apple with cinnamon ice cream. A very intelligent chef with an excellent understanding for flavours - you would not find a better restaurant in London and its excellent value too.

I recently went to A Pinch Of Veg and you know what? I’m definitely going to go back. The food was absolutely amazing and there are so many types of dishes to choose from. You're spoilt for choice. The chef is a great person. He's friendly and will always go the extra mile to make sure your experience at the restaurant is a memorable one and that you will enjoy your time there. The Chinese toffee apple dessert is a must. The prices are so reasonable that it’s unbelievable that food that looks and tastes so amazing is so affordable. Its paradise for anyone who is vegetarian and the fresh juices and smoothies are to die for. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
