A Room in Leith and Teuchters Landing Description

Located in a building that takes us back in time, Teuchters Landing was the waiting room for steamship passengers, who used to embark at Leith Docks for the ferry to Aberdeen. The whole place has now had a major facelift, and, having cleverly retained the really historic bits, they then added an elegant conservatory, which has become the restaurant 'a room in Leith', promising a warm welcome to locals and visitors to Edinburgh.

Fixed Lunch

  • £11.95 (2 courses) to £13.95 (3 courses)

Your Reviews of A Room in Leith and Teuchters Landing

Eileen Gallagher (26 January 2009)

My son and his partner took my husband and I for dinner on Sat 24th Jan 2009. Our welcome was warm and inviting, we were not rushed to our table. We had a drink in the bar whilst reading the dinner menu. We were told 'take your time, you have all evening'. The food and service was exceptional, we had a lovely evening and will definitely return. In this day and age it was refreshing to be treated as a valued customer, well done.

Veronica (13 October 2008)

We had a wonderful meal there on Saturday night. There were eight of us, and the service was very good. The food, especially the starter of sea bass was the best I have tasted. We took our own wine, which made it a bit cheaper. I would recommend this place for a good night out.
