Housed in what was once a Methodist chapel, Aakash is amongst the largest Indian restaurant in the world and the sheer grandeur of the building exemplifies this fact. The interior of dark wooden tables and leather chairs reflect modernity and comfort whilst the sweeping staircases and high-hung chandeliers exude the classic Victorian charm that tickles the heart in a reflective way.

Apart from a five course premium Indian buffet, a carte encompassing popular delights from the cuisine is to hand. Expect to see the likes of charcoal grilled salmon marinated in coriander seeds and herbs and spices and lamb chops that vie against deep fried potato pastries and chicken kebabs. Indian breads that well complement the traditional curries appear on the menu along with biryani, a highly flavoured rice dish that comes in several meat variations.
