I'm sorry but I have to say I strongly disagree with Hiten. I grew up in Reading but now live away from the town and every time I come back I need to get my chilli paneer fix and eat at Aangan! The food they serve is traditional, affordable and delicious. This is real vegetarian Indian food; give me that over a chicken korma any day. To be fair, the service can be a bit lacklustre but the food more than makes up for it in my opinion.

I visited the restaurant upon recommendation, but was disappointed with, quality, size of portions and service. They need to brush up on their act to make it more customer-appreciative. Portions were small, service was slow and they need to bring heated plates for starters, as our starters arrived first and went cold, just then we requested for plates as we never got them with the starters. Some of the curries were not freshly prepared as they were just boxed up ready to be micro waved and then served. In comparison to other similar restaurants, it was by far a very poor experience.
