Abbey Restaurant at Risley Hall Hotel Description

An impressive manor house that goes back to the 11th century, surrounded by stunningly beautiful gardens. Everything here is done with care and thought and there is evidence of a master mind which thinks the processes through and has good knowledge of what those who come to this lovely spot really want. There is a number of dining rooms each of which would be at home in any decent country house, within which a classically based menu offers a range of delights. A widely spread wine list does not offend the wallet.

I first came to Risley Hall for a friend’s wedding and had an amazing time so when I found out that I was coming back, this time to Abbey Restaurant, for a surprise eighteenth birthday meal for myself, I was looking forward to it. The food was amazing and for the four of us having a three course meal each plus drinks the price was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the best birthday ever and I would strongly recommend the restaurant and would definitely return without a doubt.
