Abokado - Cowcross Street

Inspiration for this group of upmarket and trendy sandwich bars may have come from the golden beaches of Australia, but the food that you will find at Abokado is an eclectic mix of short eats, snacks and nibbles that are brimming with flavour and high on the health factor. With five shops in London and plenty of recognition and awards coming their way, this sandwich group has made short work of the competition and seems to know what the lunch time public like to eat.

Begin a power packed day with their range of delicious breakfast options such as smoked salmon and cream cheese baguette or a simple bowl of granola with maple syrup. They have a range of enticing wraps as well as soups and stir fries which follow the Asian route, so expect something along the lines of shrimp dumpling gyoza noodles or Peking duck glass noodles. It would be a shame not to try Abokado's sushi selection which features salmon sashimi amongst others and don't miss their juices as well as smoothies.
