Abu Zaad is located on the Uxbridge Road and specializes in Middle Eastern cuisine. It's a rather odd looking restaurant that gives the appearance of having seen better days, so it's not really the place to impress someone with. However, having said that there is certainly nothing wrong with the food on offer at this very popular restaurant. Being a Middle Eastern eatery, or Syrian to be more precise, you'll find the usual spicy dips and great breads followed by a selection of tender grilled meat dishes. Mains courses will only set you back around £5 each, so it pays to be experimental here and try some of the more unusual dishes too. Reviewed by Linda ButtleLebanese

Friendly staff, very fast service, excellent value for money as the food is delicious and served in good decent portions. It’s great for those on a budget. If you're Middle Eastern or an expert in Middle Eastern food, you'll notice that some of the dishes are served in a different way than back home, nevertheless it's still delicious.
