Howard County is aptly described as a county of contrasts, an intermingling of the urban and rural, the old and new, and in keeping with its location Aida Bistro and Wine Bar adds to that suburban sophistication. The trendy décor of deep reds, bare wooden tables and subdued lighting set the tone for a fine Italian meal.

The bistro menu brings in some healthy options such as small plates and low carbohydrate selection replacing pasta with vegetables. From the small plates look out for andouille sausage, shrimp and smoke gouda stuffed ravioli topped with homemade marinara sauce, and lobster, crabmeat and shrimp over pasta. For the main event expect to find lightly battered and baked eggplant parmigiana and free range roasted chicken breast served with Marsala sauce and butternut squash risotto.
