Don't be put off by the exterior as within you are likely to be transfixed by an interior complete with fountain, tent room and exotic wall lights. Specialising in sizzling pan-cooked baltis from Baltistan, an extreme mountainous region North of Pakistan. Akbars has flown in seasoned chefs to guarantee an authentic cuisine, complete with a huge range of delicious sounding baltis at amazingly economical prices, fish pakoras and karai gosht. Desserts are much as one would expect. With house wines at £6.95 you might prefer to trade up a bit, as again value is excellent, though you could always go for beer or lassi.
