Al Forno Description

This popular Italian restaurant has a cosy interior and enjoys a good trade, as do the al fresco pavement tables during the summer months. On the menu you'll find a whole host of pizzas, as well as pasta dishes such as spaghetti alla Genovese and classic lasagne. There are also other Italian specialities such as, gnocchi with Gorgonzola and rocket, tender char-grilled fillet steak, or veal with Parma ham, sage and white wine. Main course dishes are reasonably priced around £6-£9 and there's also a two course set lunch for £8.95. The wine list is more than adequate, with plenty of light Italian wines that complement the food perfectly.

This is our favourite local restaurant. The service is always great - helpful and friendly. The food is scrumptious and the fact that it's child friendly is a bonus. It’s great for birthdays too. We only moved there in December and have been to Al Forno’s six times already, bringing families and friends each time who also love it.
