Albert's Table Description
Serving modern British food using fresh and seasonal produce in clean and minimalistic décor, the owner's of Albert's Table seem to have hit the right spot by launching a most worthy dining destination in Croydon. Their spacious and bright interior offsets the warm and inviting welcome by the staff who are pleasant and gracious, yet it is the food there which attracts many and could be why the atmosphere is always informal and buzzy.
Elaborate Sunday roasts aside, they have a sumptuous a la carte, where you could begin with a short crust tart of Dorset crab with a rouille dressing followed by roast shoulder of pork with butternut squash, fondant potato, cabbage and sage meat juices. Ending the delicious meal, there's caramelised apple pancake with vanilla ice cream while the wine list offers something for every pocket and taste, including some world renowned bottles at most unexpected prices.

Your Reviews of Albert's Table
Fine wine (4 April 2009)
I went to Albert's Table for dinner for the first time last night. I was accompanied by my brother who dines at top class restaurants in Manchester and London. We were both delighted by the delicious food and wonderful wine. It was also amazing value for money. I hope he will take me there again.
Amanda and Ed (5 December 2008)
We ate at Albert’s Table last Saturday. The service was very welcoming and the set menu was extremely good value for money at £27.50 for three courses. The food itself was divine. I would definitely recommend the old Gloucester spot pork. Our only complaint was there was a limited choice of French wine on the wine list, although this probably made us a little more adventurous then usual. We will definitely be visiting again.
