Alderley Restaurant, The Description

A country house built for one of the great industrialists of Cheshire's recent past has been converted into an hotel, recently the subject of a multi-million pound refit. Only a few miles from Manchester Airport the hub of the restaurant's success is the determined use of fresh produce from points as far distant as Fleetwood and the hotel gardens. Situated in a double, split-level conservatory the restaurant serves a wide range of dishes culled from the great repertoires and sharpened by the close attention paid to detail in the kitchens. The wine list is a massive work of art and the ranges of malt whiskies, cognacs and other liquid delicacies could prove challenging.
