Alla Turca Description
Alla Turca - The Turkish Melody Restaurant - is an entertaining take on Turkish culture, set in the centre of Glasgow. Mellow woods and sleek glass tables keep things contemporary, and the saz - a traditional Turkish musical instrument for those that don't know - player renders atmospheric folk tunes that add to the romantic and intimate mood of the place. There are dance shows to keep guests entertained on Saturdays.
The food is a mix of the old and the innovative, from classic and flavoursome vegetarian mezze and traditional barbecues to chicken casserole with apricots and plums. They also have a private basement dining room for up to forty guests.

I have eaten there twice and enjoyed on both occasions. The staff are friendly. I didn’t know they charge for olives and pita bread brought to table before ordering, will watch this next time. They have a nice atmosphere and the music is great.

My wife and I went to Alla Turca in January and thought it was great. The service was good; our table was perfect, the restaurant was very busy, and our food was outstanding. The music was great - relaxing and perfect combination to go with dinner. We highly recommend it.
