Alla Turca Description
Alla Turca - The Turkish Melody Restaurant - is an entertaining take on Turkish culture, set in the centre of Glasgow. Mellow woods and sleek glass tables keep things contemporary, and the saz - a traditional Turkish musical instrument for those that don't know - player renders atmospheric folk tunes that add to the romantic and intimate mood of the place. There are dance shows to keep guests entertained on Saturdays.
The food is a mix of the old and the innovative, from classic and flavoursome vegetarian mezze and traditional barbecues to chicken casserole with apricots and plums. They also have a private basement dining room for up to forty guests.

Shared mezes starter was a great choice, especially the borck, Shish was really succulent and exceptionally well presented. Crème brûlée was even better than Gordon Ramsay's. Good value, excellent food, we would definitely return. It’s a great location within walking distance of King's theatre.

That’s another first class meal from Alla Turca. Great atmosphere with live music, super value for money and friendly attentive service is what I experienced. Only quibble would be that the wine is a bit expensive, but wouldn’t stop us going back.
