My wife and I recently spent a long weekend in Liverpool to celebrate my 60th on Friday and selected Alma de Cuba for our big night out. Having travelled and dined throughout many top restaurants worldwide and cruised the Mediterranean and America on several occasions, the standard of the food, staff and above all the superb ambiance outstripped all. We even let the waiter select our three courses for us and can recommend the surf clams, baby ribs, rib eye steak, coconut rice and cinnamon doughnuts washed down with a bottle of Pinot Grigio. What a treat! It’s truly outstanding and all for under £70.00.

I went to Alma de Cuba on a Saturday evening and had a fantastic meal. The service was excellent. I would definitely recommend it.
