Alma Inn

The Alma Inn is around 150 years old and extends to its guests a warm Yorkshire welcome with its  open fires, stone flagged floors and exposed oak beams. They serve food from noon and customers can choose to have homemade fare in the large lounge bar or the Woodstones Restaurant that has a wood-burning pizza oven. On warm evenings meals can be taken outside in the beauty of the surrounding countryside, probably the most compelling in Calderdale according to the local newspaper.

They offer a range of pastas, fresh pizzas, seafood, as well as other Mediterranean dishes. Tasty food goes hand in hand with good drink, and they serve a variety of hand-pulled real ales, including Timothy Taylors Landlord and Golden Best and Tetley Bitter, nearly a hundred bottled Belgian beers, and four non-alcoholic Belgian and German Beers plus wines and a choice of soft drinks.

The Alma also has five en-suite bedrooms and a function room that caters for up to 150 guests.
