I live in Los Angeles where going out to eat, from breakfast to dinner is often the norm, not so in the U.K. as much. On a visit to Reading to see a friend I had the opportunity to eat breakfast at Alto's. The breakfast was good and not greasy, the coffee equally as good but I don't understand the British way of no free refills but I guess this is England and not America! The staff was super friendly and relaxed and they provided free wifi to boot! You can go there for breakfast, lunch and I believer dinner or just relax the quintessentially British way over a pint of beer! We Americans need to learn to do that for lunch!
