Versatility, especially in menus, is not handled with finesse by some  restaurants,  yet there's a place where a coffee house, bakery, pizza parlour and cocktail bar, combine effortlessly to become the Amano café.

Try the strawberry and blueberry fruit salad or the Greek yoghurt and granola and follow it down with a fruity smoothie to shake off that morning ennui. Come lunch time and the air is charged with orders of stone baked flatbread sandwiches made with various combinations such as fajita chicken, roast turkey, peppered pastrami or  tuna. Salads, soft tortilla wraps and hot jackets are amongst other enticing options.

Yakitori chicken skewers, marinated breast with sweet pepper, soy and ginger dipping sauce make interesting starters on the evening menu, while a wide range of pizzas such as fiery Milanese with salami, cherry bell peppers, jalapenos, pomodoro sauce, mozzarella and basil make this a pizza place worthy of respect. There's a good choice of beer, champagne and white or red wine to sip with your meal.
