All main course dishes are cooked on a special Anatolian charcoal grill and served with rice and vegetable garnish. This includes dishes of lamb yaprak doner, specially prepared lamb roasted on an oven spit, and chicken beyti, spicy minced chicken seasoned with garlic and parsley. Seafood options include salmon fillet cooked with tarragon and lemon and king prawns with garlic, fresh tomatoes and spring onion, and the restaurant also serves a range of thin crust Turkish pizzas with toppings of minced lamb, Cheddar cheese and spicy garlic sausage. Baklava or traditional rice pudding brings it to a fitting end.

REVIEWS OF Anatolia Chargrill

Alan Ross (1 June 2011)

I have eaten in Anatolia on a few occasions now and I think the service is excellent. The food is always to a high standard and they also have a great lunch menu and unlike many other places you can order from it at the weekend as well. I have invited my family to join me for my birthday lunch there on Saturday and I am already looking forward to it.

Kels (9 January 2011)

I have now been to this restaurant twice for lunch. This is one of my new top restaurants in Glasgow. On both occasions my partner and I have ordered the chefs special for two from the al a carte menu and it is fantastic. I would not recommend getting a starter before having this, and go easy on the bread and olives you get while you wait on your food. The dish has a bit of all meats and comes with rice, salad and a big bowl of dip. They certainly do not skimp on the portions and you will go away well fed without having had to pay a fortune. The restaurant itself is beautifully done and very nice to sit in. The staff are friendly and we can't fault their service. After talking with one of them, he recommended dining on a Friday or Saturday night as they have belly dancers and encourage diners to join in traditional turkey dancing after their meal. This might not suit if you are looking for somewhere quiet for a weekend dinner, but I will certainly give it a go.
