A friend and I celebrated her birthday at this lovely little restaurant and cannot recommend it enough. The food - wild bream and wild halibut - was excellent and the very reasonably priced wine list impressive. We had a gorgeous Chablis with the main course and a chilled Saumur Champigny with a well chosen cheese board. Service was attentive but unobtrusive and the 12.5% service charge very well deserved. We'd definitely go back again!

Very disappointing, our starters of tuna carpaccio and dressed crab had clearly been prepared much earlier and simply left on plate in the fridge (both very cold & served far too promptly to have been freshly prepared). The wine was served opened and my date's main, Gorgonzola Penne, looked more like something you'd be served in a town centre lunchtime cafe, very unimaginative. My fillet of halibut was actually ok. Upon visiting the "facilities" my date found someone had been sick in the toilet & not bothered to either i) clean it up, and/or ii) inform a member of staff! The service was overly brusque, until the end of the evening when our waiter noticeably cheered up! I won't be rushing back.
