Started as a small family run ice cream shop on Ceres Street 30 years ago, Annabelle's natural Ice Cream parlour is tucked alongside the Portsmouth waterfront which has attained fame for the various flavours which are produced and attracts people of all ages from all parts of New England. Located in a multi-storeyed structure, the shop is small but filled with paintings drawn by the staff and is perpetually filled with patrons at any time of the month and year.
 
The ice creams are all homemade and natural, with the owners making it from their own mix of cream, solids and sugar. The flavours too are numerous with regular inputs from the staff and occasionally the customers. They vary from cashew caramel cluster; pure chocolate chips with Kahlua liqueur available all the year around, to seasonal specials like Caribbean coconut; peachy peach and pumpkin pie.

A favourite haunt for children as well as their parents, Annabelle's ice cream can be enjoyed  at private parties as well as special occasions.
