Apollonia Description

Appolonia is undoubtedly a favoured dining destination in Stanmore, renowned for its range of eclectic, cosmopolitan cuisine that never fails to inspire. The modern makeover that it has received has rendered it into a chic, contemporary space, perfect for glamorous events and affairs, elegant lunches and stylish dinner parties. Soft, neutral colours infuse the atmosphere with a sense of calmness and relaxation and it's in places such as these that food transcends into something of the soul.

The international menu features seasonal delights with starters such as crispy Thai duck with green mango and tamarind dressing or pan fried chicken livers sautéed with spring onions on a green leaf salad. Further down, there could be a main course of grilled sea bass fillets with a delicate dill sauce or stir fried Oriental chilli beef served with noodles and vegetables. The wine list is extensive and offers a wide range of choices that encompass a variety of tastes.

Fixed Lunch

  • £18.50 (2 courses) to £20 (3 courses)

Your Reviews of Apollonia

Shai (14 November 2008)

It was a real shame and disappointment. The food was average and the service was over the top. It seems like the members of staff are in fear of the manager; I have never seen anything like it; overpriced in every way, and to top it all, the manager tried to get into every one of our photographs. It was very embarrassing. They also cleared our table, handed us our coats and we had to leave before the place was due to close. We had to stand in the rain for twenty minutes waiting for our booked cars. I will not be recommending this restaurant to anybody. There are far better places to eat in Stanmore.
