For 30 years the Applegarth farm shop has been offering a great range of locally sourced products, grown both on the farm and bought in from local producers. Now they have expanded by opening a restaurant, which mirrors this, as everything is prepared from scratch in their kitchen and many of the products can also be bought from one of the deli counters. All dishes are of the highest quality and the meat used sourced from within a 15 mile radius of the farm.

It offers a daytime menu ranging from a traditional English breakfast to afternoon tea with home made scones, clotted cream and jam. At lunch the selection could include leek and bacon potato cakes with roasted spring veg, kiln roasted fishcakes with lemon mayo and a constantly changing specials board, while puddings might embrace passion fruit cheese cake, treacle tart or a delicious apple pie.
