Aqua Eight Description

Stylish and sophisticated, Aqua Eight in Ipswich is a pan Asian restaurant that has become popular not just for its delicious food but also its chilled out atmosphere. Modern elements in the decor do not detract from the warmth of the welcome in any way and diners can sit back and relax as they enjoy the lovely ambience of this restaurant. The cuisine leans more towards the Orient with heavy influences from China and Japan making themselves evident in the menu.

Begin with the tea smoked honey ribs or the chilli and pepper squid, and amongst the main dishes there could be the black cod in miso or the stir fried scallop and prawn cake with pak choi while poultry is also an excellent choice featuring roast duck in mango and passion fruit sauce. Finally, round off the meal with the banana katsu with vanilla ice cream, leaving wines from the carefully chosen list work to well with the menu, although Aqua Eight also offers cocktails, beers and spirits.

Oh my gosh! This has to be the nicest restaurant ever. The food is amazing and the décor is stylish. You really must go. Try the monkfish tossed in honey and cracked black pepper - it melts in your mouth!

A really lovely restaurant, service was excellent and the food sublime. We asked for the waiter's advice on the dishes. We wanted one fish, one chicken, one beef and another one and his chosen main courses would just melt in the mouth, gorgeous. It was great to find an Asian restaurant with proper puddings on the menu too. I only go out for the pudding. We are definitely going back.
