Four of us visited Aqua for Saturday brunch. The whole thing was a mistake. There wasn't enough staff, the food was average and they didn't even thank us or say goodbye as we left. Overall, I was so disappointed I emailed the management and told them. I felt my feedback was done in such away to encourage them to improve, as I want them to succeed. Anyway my email was ignored.

I recently had to spend some time working in Bristol and have now visited the Aqua Bar on five occasions, mostly on my own or with a colleague and once with a party of eight. On every single occasion we were served efficiently by staff who take pride in their work and are not put out to go that extra mile. Incredible value from an extensive menu, which uses fresh produce - I can recommend the seafood pasta, which is full of flavour and a very large portion. If like me, you don't want a full starter, the mains are large and filling, go for a basket of bread, plate of olives, crudités and dip with some olive oil and balsamic, all for £1.95 enough for two people. I have noticed that previous reviews are pretty ancient so hopefully the other reviewers will try the Aqua again. I am in Bristol next week for five days and will certainly be dining there again on at least three occasions.
