Archie's Restaurant Description
Archie's restaurant is situated in Sandiacre, a mere five minutes from M1 Junction 25. The building is a 200 year old barn conversion, which has been thoughtfully fitted out to exceptionally high standards, and has a unique relaxed welcoming atmosphere with lots of character.
Food is locally sourced and is served in a friendly manner. Dishes tend to be fairly traditional in style, but with some innovative touches, such as stuffed saddle of British lamb on a bed of tarragon leeks, finished with a lamb gravy or herb crusted local farmed fillet of beef with roast chestnut, mushrooms and malt whiskey sauce.
Puddings are real stars, it would take someone with a stronger will than mine to resist a choice that might consist of coconut crème brûlée; baked orange and cointreau cheesecake; chocolate and cherry truffle praline or sticky toffee pudding.
On the first Tuesday of every month they hold a seven course gourmet jazz evening, which offers excellent value.

What a find, it is. We had our wedding breakfast venue pull out less than four weeks before the wedding, and Archie’s have saved the day. They have gone out of their way to fit us in and make sure our day goes well. We've had a trial dinner there, which was delicious and now can't wait for our big day. We're so impressed with the help the staff have given us, and now in fact we're glad our previous venue let us down. Thank you, Archie’s.

I would recommend Archie's as a great place to dine. The atmosphere is just right, the staff are friendly and the food is excellent. We are a local business and use Archie's to provide food for important business meetings on our site, whether it is for customer or senior corporate visitors, such is the high standard of food provided.
