I visited for the first time last night, and it was definitely for the last time. Whilst the oysters were ok, the cod main course was overpriced and the blandest fish dish, I have ever come across (captain bird’s eye included). The sweet was no better. The main fault, however, was the inattentive and poor service. It was a nice touch by the restaurant to allow customers to leave (walking past four members of staff in the process) without any acknowledgement. Also, if you pay £30 for wine it would have been nice for it to be chilled, and not to have to wait ten minutes for an ice bucket. In summary, definitely it is a place to avoid, especially if you are looking for good seafood.
