I have eaten at The Ark a number of times, and have never been disappointed. In my experience the portions have been large, and I would suggest that sharing a starter is a good idea. I can especially recommend the whitebait. The service has always been cheerful, and swift. However as there is a no reservation policy at The Ark you need to arrive early, especially on a Friday. My only gripe is that The Ark can get very noisy probably due to the minimalist décor.

Been to The Ark at least twenty times, and we have always had an excellent meal. The fish is the freshest we have had in the UK. Children are well catered for, good atmosphere, attentive staff. A really nice restaurant in general. Going back again soon!!
