Ark Description
Aficionados of this excellent establishment will be sad to know that the onset of the years is resulting in the Kidds reducing their activities, though residents and those who book rooms will still be able to enjoy the straightforward unfussy cuisine. One often hears that local produce is employed but here its use is almost an art form and what cannot be found tends to get grown in the garden. Mousseline of smoked haddock with mango salsa make an excellent starter, followed by Trelough duck with a bitter orange marmalade farce, ending in style with old English ratafia trifle. An excellent wine list, comfortably priced with house wine starting at £11.00.
