Arrogant Frog Brasserie, The

It's location on Brighton seafront gives scope to uninterrupted sea views, but inside The Arrogant Frog echoes everything one expects from a French brasserie. The enthusiasm of the man behind it all is almost infectious. Meet Rosario Guarneri who approaches this new venture and an upcoming catering academy with plenty of fire in his belly.

The menu continues to delight those with French culinary fantasies complemented with regularly changing black board specials. Roasted mackerel pâté with toast and a side salad, and warm Pollock brandade with roasted beetroot carpaccio and spring onions make a pleasant appearance among starters. Then hop right on to a main course of boeuf bourguignon or a mixed grill of chicken breast, lamb chops, minute steak and pork sausage. For desserts iced nougat entremets and red cherry tiramisu may catch the fancy of many diners.

The baby frog menu of pizza margarita and house speciality of smoked salmon with lemon juice and double cream could make children croak with delight!
