Artichoke Restaurant, The Description

Modern contemporary restaurant set within a 16th century building in Medieval country town. Stylish interior featuring fabric wall hangings, muted shades and Italian leather. Modern French cuisine with gutsy undertones - menu features signature dishes of confit of duck, perfectly pan fried scallops, hand made ravioli and hazelnut praline parfait. Attentive professional service and an astute wine list.

I think this is not only the best restaurant in Bucks but possibly the best for miles around and serves good food which is affordable. You can try the fresh fish, meat and game. Service is top notch and there is a great wine list to choose from. This place will be on my top ten.

Fantastic Restaurant. My wife and I visited last Valentines Day and were treated to the most fantastic meal with wine. The service was attentive and discreet. We have since returned and dined equally as well. The food was superb, coupled with the calm decor, comfortable chairs and a superb wine list price per head including wine is a little under £50.00 which is superb for the quality. I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know and could not recommend any other as highly that I have been to.
