The focus is on cooking fresh ingredients in a hot pan with an infusion of spices that make dishes such as seared teriyaki marinated tuna fillet with crushed peppercorns burst with flavour.

Look out for barbecued pork ribs, fried fillet of lemon sole in pine kernel and orange sauce; and tofu with pork, prawns, shitake mushrooms and preserved cabbage.

The conservatory room is regularly used for private and business functions.

Our favorite! (20 December 2008)

Last evening we returned to Ascot Oriental after being out of the country for some time. We felt truly welcomed and as always very happy with our delicious meal. We shared menu A with added crispy duck and wines. Our favourite time of year to visit Ascot Oriental is coming soon, Chinese New Year, an evening full of colour, costumes and a special menu featuring many delicious courses. The wine list is perfect, champagne is offered by the glass, the ambience is warm and friendly, the staff caring and attentive, and all the food is freshly prepared. We recommend Ascot Oriental to any lovers of Chinese food.

Disappointed Customer (29 October 2008)

My husband and I ordered the take-away and were very disappointed. The meal was expensive and not good, which is a bad combination. They also mixed up our order, which when added to the poor value left us even more disappointed. Don’t be fooled by the nice looks of the place, and the Michelin and other signs on their front door.
