Throughout the summer they serve cream teas and afternoon tea in the beautiful gardens by the River Stour.

We're so lucky to have such a fabulous venue right on our doorstep. I've eaten there twice, now and will certainly go again. The Tapas were so beautifully presented, they looked too good to eat, but of course we did and they tasted superb. The fizzy Friday is a great way to end the working week and when the weather's fine you can sit out with your glass of champagne in the beautiful gardens and relax by the river. We're going to try the afternoon tea next, and at some stage we'll have a full dinner there. Living close by, I shall definitely be one of their regulars.

Everything about The Old Mill is superb! From the second you walk in, it is obvious you've discovered something very special. The decor is an intelligent and strikingly beautiful blend of Italian luxury and English country making the most of the building's character features. Upon opening the door we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who invited us into the beautiful lounge. We had champagne and canapes while we perused the menu. Between the three of us we ordered a good selection from the menu and everything was perfect! The beef with horseradish gnocchi was incredible, as was the brill. My first instinct was to compare the food to that at Michelin starred Mallory Court, which I later discovered, was a former workplace for Ashley James! On reflection, the food here far surpassed that of Mallory Court, a place that I am a huge fan of, especially as I got married there! Ashley James is an incredibly talented chef and I can't wait to see this place become more and more successful! The best food in the Warwickshire area can be found right here!
