Ashley's Beer & Grill

It first started way back in 1983 in Ann Arbor and now Ashley's Beer and Grill, much like its older sibling, successfully treads the path of encouraging locals to try what is called a drinking feast. With 20 on tap and a collection of over 80 different bottles, the six rotating taps grab the limelight and so does the whiskey selection featuring small batch bourbons and single malt scotches.

The menu is designed with the drinks list in mind, so there are aptly titled pub bites such as beer snack basket and rattlesnake fries topped with jalapeño Alfredo sauce and mozzarella cheese. A few bites later, tuck into some specialties like BBQ baby back ribs and grilled sirloin and roasted red pepper sauce, or choose a sandwich, pub pizza, burgers, soups or entrée salads.

Sampler flights at Ashley's do much to instill admiration for beers and whiskeys within the locals.
