Named after Agent 007's favourite and most recognizable car, the Aston Restaurant is a popular and well-known eatery in London, which was founded in the 1930's at the location of the Aston Martin club. With years of experience in the restaurant industry, the light and spacious place with warm wooden furniture and comfortable seating is a name to reckon with, for its modern British cuisine drawing together classic cooking techniques and simple fresh local ingredients.
Popular with the local people for its combination of style and comfort, the restaurant's à la carte menu is a selection of fare that includes lamb steak with sautéed new potatoes and onions with mint sauce; steamed cod fillet with Savoy cabbage, new potatoes and smoked salmon sauce, and fillets of beef with béarnaise sauce and chips.
Concluding a meal with desserts of white chocolate truffle and ginger cheese cake with Yorkshire rhubarb compote, and taking a pick from the choices of wines and drinks, ensures a satisfying end to a very memorable evening.
