My husband and I had a delightful meal at this restaurant, to celebrate our anniversary last year. We have French friends in the Auvergne and always loved their cooking, so we were keen to try Le Refuge. We had great fun with the young man teasing him for not bringing butter with the enormous cheese platter, he responded by ceremonially bringing enough butter for a family and abject apologies all in fun. Lovely people, good food, fascinating surroundings, such a pleasurable evening!
