Named after Aubrey De Vere, who was granted the tenancy of Kensington by William the Conqueror, Aubrey Restaurant and Bar reflects a distinct elegance, charm and warmth. Located in The Kensington Hotel, its lofty ceilings and parquet flooring, complemented by green leather seating and art deco light fittings, create a luxurious ambience. There is an exotic cocktail bar adjoining the dining area done up in distressed mirrors and timber-clad walls along with a blue glass ceiling that adds to the setting.
Looking picture perfect on the plate, dishes such as roasted fillet of venison and slow cooked shoulder of lamb steal the show whilst excellent beef grills are not far behind. Close with the classic sticky toffee pudding with custard or white milk and dark chocolate brownie topped with mint and chocolate chip ice cream. Some heavenly concoctions of spirits are on hand at the bar.
