Ayza Wine and Chocolate Bar Description

The name Ayza Wine and Chocolate Bar may mislead some to believe that it's only a chic zone for cocktails and confectionaries near the bustling Times Square; it's that of course and much more. This sleek and stylish restaurant has a contemporary interior designed by renowned architect Richard Bloch who has numerous unique designs to his credit. A relaxed outdoor patio welcomes you into a tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable dining room highlighted by fixed ceiling and hanging lights.

A well devised menu encompasses dishes from the Mediterranean with noticeable Asian influences. Angry chicken lollipops and wild mushroom pita tart are good ways to whet the appetite before going in for hearty mains such as pan roasted wild striped bass, medallions of filet mignon and stuffed chicken paillard.

A treat awaits chocoholics and dark chocolate filled with a cherry that's marinated in brandy can only be termed as truly 'sinful'.

The bin list at Ayza covers a selection of over ninety fine wines and champagnes from all round the world.

Your Reviews of Ayza Wine and Chocolate Bar

Gary (8 November 2009)

I stopped in for lunch one day after shopping in Herald Square and wish I worked closer. I'd come all the time. They definitely have a good crowd of lunch followers and I can see why. The food is great and really affordable. I had a yummy salad but want to go back and try the paninis that looked so great.

Chandra (13 October 2009)

I love their filet so I go pretty regularly for dinner. It’s usually pretty packed though and you can’t make reservations after 6:30 so it makes it tough. I love it anyways though and the wait is worth it. The nice thing is you can eat at the bar too.
