Cosy, lively and chic, Back to Basics, housed at Foley Street, is a seafood lover's delight and has been established for over more than ten highly successful years.

The menu is an attractive flurry of hot appetizers like crab cakes with mayonnaise and hot and spicy crab claws, to cold ones such as smoked fish platter and  premier cru oysters. The pasta dishes shine through mainly for their toothsome ingredients such as pesto chicken breast, wild mushrooms and bacon, and mussels, clams and crab claws. You can also enjoy seafood delicacies of poached organic salmon salad, monkfish and spicy prawn couscous with garlic butter or deep fried haddock fillets with sauce tartare. Don't miss the lovely desserts served here, be it the bananas baked in foil with rum or the bread butter pudding with whisky sauce.
