Ballysheedy Bar & Restaurant Description

Situated ten miles from Limerick City, Ballysheedy is a spacious bar and restaurant, ideal to stop by for a good pint or a tasty home-cooked meal. The premises consists of a bar, restaurant, and function room that can accommodate up to a hundred people.

The bar has a large stretched counter and tables and chairs all made of polished wood. Linger over drinks and bar food served from noon until late, watch sporting events on flat screen TVs, and play darts or pool. Live music nights are organised regularly.

The restaurant's stone walls, oak beams, and open fireplace give it a warm rustic ambience. An á la carte menu offers a range of dishes with specials that vary from time to time. Starters include steamed Kerry mussels, BBQ ribs, and a salad of salmon and tiger prawns while a selection of steaks, stir-fried beef flavoured with Thai red curry; beef lasagne, fish cakes, and sandwiches make up the main course. Sunday lunch is a special occasion with a choice of roast joints and homemade desserts.
