Bam-Bou Restaurant

1 Percy Street, London, W1T 1DB

Overlooking the buzzing Charlotte Street in Fitzrovia is the Bam-Bou Restaurant, which is classy and elegant, and its central location makes it an ideal eat-out spot for those visiting London's theatres, museum or shopping at the West End. The menu is firmly rooted in the south-east Asian region and features Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisines with sharing dishes, making it a great place to dine out with friends. Choices might include giant crackers with bam-bou chilli sauce or the pork and prawn wonton with black vinegar, chilli oil and sesame. Further you could choose between a green curried chicken with tiger aubergine and bamboo shoots or Sichuan- spiced duck breast with tamarind and chilli.

REVIEWS OF Bam-Bou Restaurant

Daniel Holden (29 May 2003)

This is a very fine French-Vietnamese restaurant that allows you to completely relax and enjoy good food. Staff are very friendly and make a great effort to accommodate all your needs. It is advisable that you book in advance. The food is very fine, with for example the delicious Sea bass on banana leaves. Try also the coconut rice, which is deliciously soft and goes well with most of the meals. The only negative is that portions are a little small.
