How much better can salt beef get? This is a jewel of a place. Unpretentious, friendly, and cosy in a singularly laid-back fashion, the emphasis is on the food not the décor. If you have some Eastern European genes, or if only your great grand father was Jewish, treat your genes to the all-out salt beef experience. Your mother would approve.

I think this is the best salt beef bar in London. They serve fabulous gefilte fish and chopped liver. The owners are nice and I went there every week for twenty years until I move up north. Now I miss this place terribly.
