Located in London's new cultural district, close to the South Bank, where it takes its name from, this unpretentious restaurant offers a relaxing and warm atmosphere. It is unpretentious and has a contemporary décor with chocolate brown walls that offset the sleek wood finish, giving the restaurant a welcoming air.

The restaurant offers a variety of seating options to accommodate between two and eighteen people, while the entire restaurant can cover a hundred and seventy. They also host events and private gathering. While they do not offer a separate children's menu, they are happy to serve smaller versions of their regular dishes for little ones.

The menu has no fuss, brasserie style food which is predominantly British. It has starters like soups, pasta, salads and tortillas. Their mains have quick options like bangers and mash and shepherd's and fisherman's pie, while their Best of British section offers grilled salmon on cheddar mash with rocket and lemon butter, Irish stew with herb dumplings and other comfort foods, including rib eye with grilled tomatoes, mushrooms and watercress with chips.

Their dessert section features banoffee pie and chocolate bread and butter pudding, among others. The well-stocked bar offers draught beers, a range of wines cocktails, sprits and soft drinks.
