Bar 166 & Bistro

Since my earlier review of Bar 166, I have revisited the restaurant and found that things have much improved. The service was excellent and the new menu was fabulous. My faith has been restored in Bar 166, thanks to Ben who took my comments seriously, well worth a visit.

I was extremely disappointed tonight after an hour and a half wait for our meals had still not arrived. We asked for the bill (some bread and three drinks) only to be told that our meals were next out of the kitchen, but lo and behold they weren't. We know from past experience that the food was excellent and cooked from fresh ingredients, but our expectations were ruined and never once were we offered more drinks in our ninety minute hunger marathon. We left the money to cover our drinks and left.
