Their name might inspire numerous 'kick' related phraseology, but let's keep things simple because essentially Bar Kick on Shoreditch High Street is all about good food in a sporty atmosphere. Things can't get better than that, particularly for those who love the adrenaline high of playing table football while munching on some delicious sandwiches and snacks. The fare is fresh and tasty, a result of passionately procuring only local and seasonal produce prepared without fuss in an honest and basic fashion.
From the bar menu, you might like the grilled beef burger with sweet corn relish, lettuce, cheddar and tomato while grilled chorizo and rocket make a superb sandwich filling. Daily specials could bring delights such as slow roasted pork on grilled ciabatta or a goat's cheese salad with cherry tomatoes and chives. Round off with the peach crème caramel and enjoy a wide variety of carefully chosen wines, beers and drinks.

This is a friendly table football bar with an interesting and well-balanced clientele. The menu is Mediterranean influenced - grilled haloumi with roasted Provencale vegetables and rocket salad; lamb and beef merguez with Mediterranean bread salad and harissa. They show a strong commitment to quality ingredients. It’s a very comfortable place to lunch, and in the evening you can enjoy your supper with some good Old World wine, while the background is abuzz with players having fun at the football tables.
