We have noticed on more than one occasion, that there seems to be a laxity of either understanding on the part of the waiting staff, or a lack of discipline in the kitchen, or both, as far as the presentation and content of the particular dish being served. When asked, the waiting members of staff seem to be completely oblivious to the character of the question, or in reality do not understand the question, or both. An example would be in the case of a cup of gumbo, ‘gee did we actually stir the pot before this portion was drawn, it seems to be just water and no seafood’. At that point, we just completely reject the serving and move on; just a note.
