My daughter and I enjoyed a delicious lunch at Base Restaurant today served by attentive staff.

We were a group of five who ate at Base Restaurant last night. The waiting staff were inattentive and dropped items on and around the table several times. We were refused potatoes with our mains even though the menu clearly states that main meat courses are served with a choice of sides, one of which is potatoes. The menu is varied but let down by the quality of cooking. The duck and cod were overcooked and bland, and the desserts weren’t any better, crepes were served cold. It was a disappointing experience.
